Well it may not have a very high top speed over 60 [faster than I want to go through the woods], but when you floor it from a full stop on asphalt or dirt it immediately goes to 2nd gear and lights up those 18.5X44 cut TSLs like they were stock vw tires.
I'm not saying it is any better than any other buggy, but frankly this one gets my attention real fast, most HP to weight I've experienced.
Biggest problem, I see is maneuverability, because of size and it gets too fast too quick.
But then again, I gettin old.
I suspect it will be more controllable on a dryer weekend, we were climbing old hills [cut for non-CD] with lots of roots on a wet weekend and everybody that climbed had to really buzz em up.
I still like my Suby, gets me up all but the toughest hills, and has a heater,radio,windshield,doors,a-arm,coilovers all around, and I'm used to it. [I know it's a tank, but it's comfortable]
