I would not suggest aircraft stripper. It was the biggest pain in the a$$ ive ever dealt with.Spend a few hundred bucks and get it sandblasted or spay over top of it and ride.

Gasoline? When I bought mine the previous owner got stupid drunk flipped it and it caught fire and burnt to the ground. That took all the paint off. :) Seriously Scotch Brite pads that fit a sander/buffer and the small ones for your air die grinder work but take time. Even wih a renting large sand blaster and air compressor it takes 2-3 hours but you also get all the rust off. Last person I know got the compresor and blaster for around $100 per day. I have never tried paint stripper.

all i have to say is do NOT use the "ospho" knock off shit from home depot, go to the body shop store and get the real shit. I had to sandblast my entire frame and it still barely took that stuff off. For those that dont know, "ospho" is used to pull the impurities out of the steel before painting, uc an usually knock it off wtih scotchbrite. Sandblasting a buggy frame is miserable.
