My name is Troy Scherer (oddpowers). My brother got me into buggies about 2 years ago. I have been married to my wife Jamie (Jametta Marie) for about 14years. We have two kids Paige 11 (odd jr) and Nicholas 9. I am a Manager of an Airgas Welding supply Store In Anderson,IN I spent 4 years in the US Navy as a Gas Turbine Tech.
My wife wasn't sure about the buggy idea at first but she likes it now. My daughter likes it so much, I will be building her one next. Untill I put a TV on it my son is not real interested.
We mainly ride at Haspin, but we are planning a trip to Wellsville this year. We live in Pendleton, IN

This was our first buggy.

Heres the buggy I hope to be riding this year

My dad traded for his first buggy close to 15 years ago, i rode a quad for while then i got my first rail. I finally built a new one after 3 years, single seater, looks to be an old barrien frame, rear cage has since been redone, a stock motor with a 3 rib, and ditch digger v's.

My name is Tim. I'm 33, work on Ft. Campbell military base as a civilian mechanic. Used to be into dirt track racing, now have gotten into buggies. I have a beautiful girlfriend and 4 kids, 13, 9, 7 and 6. And yes all five of them are a handful. This is my first buggy, was a swing axle setup when I first got it. Put it in my buddys garage and we tore it down to the bare frame. It got converted to an irs suspension, 4 wheel disc breaks were added, and new paint., but still stock 1600 with sedan transmission. Now its tore down in my basement about to recieve a 2332 motor, 6 rib, and 930 c.v. joints with chromoly axles. We ride at Turkey Bay and down the streets of Clarksville when its warm outside. And it has seen the drag strip a time or two, but seeing as it was with a stock motor, I'll save myself the embarrasement of posting the times. <Grin>

Hello my name is Neal, I live in Clarksville. TN. I have a awesome wife named Cee-Cee and 5 great kids. I raced stock cars for 15 years on the dirt. Now like my friend Tim, I've gotten into buggies and four-wheelers. We ride at Turkey Bay (LBL) and anywhere we can go on the street, for my buggy is street legal. My buggy is a warrior chassis with a 2500cc Bernie Bergman engine and a Chuck Jones built six rib. 2X3 trailing arms, rancho and fox nitrogen shocks on the back, coil overs on the front and a few other goodies including dry sump.
I am a truck driver by trade, have owned a machine shop (which was a money pit), and now drive a school bus and loving it. I love to spend all my time with my family, my friends and most of all my wife. Am looking forward to going riding at D&K among other places this summer but primarily Turkey Bay. Hope I can get a bunch of other people who haven't been to Turkey Bay or haven't been in a while to come ride with me and my friends and family this summer. Would like to put my buggy in for buggy of the month but haven't got all my pictures done yet.

Cecile Grisham ...aka...Cee-Cee and HappyTrails. A lot of you already know me but for those that don't I thought I'd post on here and introduce myself. I'm the blonde old lady that has been working the computer at the hill climbs along with working the timer and at times announcing. I am married to Racefreak and our new passion is riding/climbing in our buggy for the last couple of years. I want to say that since we have become a part of Woodsbuggy we have met some very great people. We went from racing on the dirt on a circle track where it was nothing but drama and dog-eat-dog, so I must say that it had been very refreshing to come across such a fine group of new friends.
I hope that by posting this on "hello my name is...) it will move this back to the front page where some of the new people that have gotten involved in it, will post a little about themselves so we can get to know you too.
Look forward to seeing you at the hill climbs and seeing you on the trails ~

It worked Cecile :) I'm Ryan Pacz...... I go by Hunter71495, because i love hunting and 7-14-95 is my b-day. Also I think i might take that youngest award? But, yea my dad was into racing way back in the day. Car's,lifted trucks, big tires, v-8's... you know the story. Well he got into Dirt Drags back in the mid 80's at the http://www.lm4w.org and is still doing it. Well without Line Mountain 4 Wheeler's, i wouldn't be here, i remember going to the event back when i was 3 and smelling the exhaust and the smell of engines and grease and all of that great stuff. The roar of the engines, flying through the tight trails like something out of hell itself. Well i got hooked, 8) i went to the 7 miler this year (biggest of the 3 events) and decided that i wanted to race my old quad up there. Well i had the spirit but the quad didn't 1988 lt-230s. I realized that it would prolly not be such a great idea. Well i was thinking about getting a jeep or a truck and modding it out and racing it up there. I knew that i didn't have the $$$ to do that. So i decided that i'm going to race buggies(cheapest route, i always loved buggies). So i recently got my first job at Ace Hardware, and i went from there. As of Tuesday i bought my first buggy (few parts+frame) and have been chugging ever since. My mom doesn't support racing at all ("huge waste of money") and the "other-side" doesn't bother so its me and you guys.

Me and my buggy
