I want to go to LBL bad. Im down for that MM. We will get a group going.

Wilborns had a hole lot of just good riding. Differnt terrians and elevations and some nice look out peaks and stuff I loved going to. Also a lot of more open style trails I could haul ass through. I never been to another park that has as much differnt styles of riding as wiborns does.

Hey Chris how much good trail riding is there at stoney? All I keep hearing riding refured to is hills hills hills. Maybe Im just bitching for myself since I seem to be the only person who just enjoys riding not climbing. I like to take some sweet fast trails. Then stop and watch all the dummies climb and bullshit while I cool down. I keep hearing of the other parks more so that you back off the trailer, drive 1/4 mile and climb climb climb then 1/4 mile back to trailer and load up and go home. I aint coming to watch that. I might as well walk.

not sure boyd as i have not covered the whole park myself but there are a couple of "branchoffs" from the main trail that goes for a little ways before it narrows, ends, or gets rough you could open up on (i think)

like i said before they are cutting more trails and maybe some of the guys that have been more i will get on here make some comments

I think stoney lonesome is whats gettin to Leroy. :x Last time I was at Wilborns, Leroy was complaining about cullman county not taking care of the potholes on the road leading to wilborns, and that stoney lonesome was special , cause its owned by cullman co. I heard Iron horse lost its money backer, and dont have anymore heavy equipment....wonder how long he will be open.. and I agree, ridin trails goes along with climbin hills.... oh well im still gonna ride at wilborns as well as other places, but im for sure gonna try stoney lonesome .......

Well you need to come and ride with us at D&K there is miles and miles of just trails. I think the outer loop is 15 to 20 miles. It has every thing from mild to EXTREME! So come join us there flat-lander.

Thanks for the offer Bruce but I won't ride my car at DK. To many tight spots and places where your belly drags from what Larry told me. I wouldnt pull it off the trailer if it looked as muddy as it did at the last climb there. haha

Thats only cuz your gonna be wider than some are long (95") and using 16 ga flat aluminum for a floorpan in places and nothing under the motor. SAND rail. I said you could get around, but your trailer queen would no longer be show-perfect.
Dont want no one to get the wrong idea, ANY WOODSbuggy can get around D&K's trails just fine. And its only $10 a day per vehicle, it dont matter if you got a 4x4 limo and 18 people riding with you!

You must be a bad driver.  A chain drive buggy should be bigger than yours and they have no problem what so ever getting around. (other than climbing the EXTREME hills)           So come on up. Heck 2 weeks ago we drove a Tractor trailer back there to get a rock truck out.

Haha Yes no one get the wrong idea. D&K is great and great riding.

Are you calling me fat larry? Just cause im 95 wide in the rear dont mean Im fat ok.
I just have a camel with one floor bar and the only sked plate or floor is a two foot peice of thin aluminum under you feet. Guess I'm not even a woodsbuggy anymore. Boooo. Exiled. Banned from the island. Torch has been put out. 8)

I just got off the phone with Leroy and he told me that I can organize a Hill Climb at Wilborns. Leroy wants buggys to enjoy the park but he just don't want to be the organizer of the Hill Climbs . We are going to have hill climbs. We need to settle on dates. He opens first day of February and I expect to go down and ride maybe Feb. 6th,,that is the first Saturday. I am thinking a good weekend for our first hill climb of the season may be about the third weekend in March or April. While there we will work out some details and announce some Hill Climb dates.

All the times I rode at brutons we have gone to the same few spots. Ive gotten lost several times at Wilborns. Even run outta gas like 4 times. The trails I think are best at Bruton you get introuble with the law for riding them. Your right many of the trails at Brutons are so rough you cant ride them fast or its hill after hill after hill up and down. Thats my opinion of it thats all and this all comes down to bashing me for not wanting hillclimb. Cause most of the people on here aint go no respect for people who like differnt stuff. I dont say nothing about people climbin except that I give much respect for it and love to watch. Just not my taste. But all I hear about is scared this and scared that and I cant drive cause I dont climb so why don't yall bring yall stuff to the sand and play in my playground and will see whats what.
