big_bob,
Small world, I am from Grundy, well, lived there 4 yrs and graduated From Grundy Sr. High. Man I miss that place, I moved there from Florida where I could ride my bike to the beach. I moved with my dad to Carter Bottom near the coke plant. My entertainment was then a creek and my bb gun. Then I moved into town, Whooo, I now have the Triple H arcade, and Jerrys had the best steamed hotdogs.
Great place to ride.

Bob, did you ever find the right frame?
I am looking for a frame for a taller guy, the frame that I have now is just to small for me.
Does anyone have any photos of an L A products frame?

I would look for something fuel injected with an aluminum motor. There is nothing wrong with starting out with a VW and then swapping over to something that has some real power :P A side shift 6 rib is the hot ticket as far as strength and should last for years as long as you don't pound on it too bad.
Lots of luck and your in a great spot to live as far as riding goes, reasonably close to some great riding.

Hey mike he should start out with a water cool first. Then he can go with a vw fuel injection and he can see the real power.lol jk bob good luck on your build cant wait to see your posts.and madmike great to meet you at rush ky out on jordan hill take care
