I'm getting really tired reading about who's buggies are better than who's. Getting tired hearing about people getting dogged because they don't climb the "big one." Personally I think what everyone should do is climb what they're comfortable with, be proud of the buggy that you have. Wether it's a KY cookie cutter, a predator, a big 'ol chain drive or a homemade buggy (as long as it's safe).
When we went to the hill climbs it was fun climbing the hill and doing some riding, but the most fun was hanging out with all the new friends that we made and all the poeple that are supposed to be a family of buggiers. I know there's going to be disagreements about this-and-that, but instead why don't we go out and play with our toys, enjoy each other and have a good time.
Why worry about who built who's buggy. Personally my buggy is far from the best in the woods, it's more a trail buggy/street buggy that I climb hills with. I take alot of pride in what I DO have and am not ashamed to pull into any park with it. So as long as your happy with what you got and hit the hills that you're comfortable with and if your not into hill climbing, ride the trails. When it's all over after a day of riding hang out with a bunch of great people.
What it all boils down to, I don't care what kind of buggy you have, it's the person that's in that buggy that matters. If that person is happy with what the got than why does matter.
And Pipedope, you hit hills that I never think about hitting right now, you are my hero...
