Lets all get to know each other better. I,ve seen it said here more than once including in the recent post (know if your welcome) and i agree. I would like to know who everybody is in case i ever actualy get to meet all of you someday. Something more than your screen name and avitar. So i will start. My name is Tony Wasman Aka tw9294. I,m 41 yrs old i work as an auto tech in a gm dealer. I have 2 kids of my own and my girlfriend who i have been with for aprox 8 yrs also has two. These 4 kids who i love dearly are the reason i have no time or money to get anywhere to meet anybody. I live in wooster oh aprox 2hrs west of wellsville and yet never get there. The oldest child graduates on memorial day wknd(dammit). This is my second buggy and i was introduced to vws and buggys as a kid by a couple of guys who drag raced vws. Below is a pic of me 1 of family and 1 of my buggy. Ok now its your turn.ImageImageImageImage

My name is Jason/Metz/Nitro Mudder. My last buggy purchase was 8 hrs ago, I am a 35 yr old Pipe fitter/welder/plumber. :? I got into buggy riding way back when I was 34 years old. I don't know of any woodsbuggy guys within an hour of me  I drive a barrien sandfox with a GM boat anchor and Goodyear tires. I mostly ride at Haspin Acers in Indiana. Most of the guys I ride with don't get on here, but are a great group of guys, even Jimmy  My hobbies are buggies, hi-jackin threads and pickin on pastel buggy owners  . I have a wife (Lacey) who is almost always riding shotgun. You may have to wake her up to say hello if it's dark out. I also have a 14 yr old daughter named Kayla who gets to tag along once in a while. And a pair of American bulldogs we breed and stud to help fund my buggy habit.
Here is the most recent pic of my buggy, few mods since avitar pic.

Hi, my name is Jayson Scurlock and I live in Jackson, Ohio. I work as an inventory supervisor at Walmart. I used to run demolition derbies but now I am in the process of building my first buggy and realize I hate grinding and cut-off wheels hurt when they explode. I bought my buggy on January 2nd this year from craigslist and have totally changed it to make it safer. The buggy doesn't look the same as when I first got it. I rode in my buddies buggy a few years back at Richland Furnance and have wanted to get one since. My buddy has been helping me a bunch since he is more expierenced. My camera sucks so I dont upload too many pics.I take alot of pics but yet to post much to the forums.

Hey, I'm Dave Mitchell (a.k.a.- frankenbuggy, lil dave, &tree f***er). I'm 18 years old, i live in medina/lodi area. My dad traded for his first buggy close to 15 years ago, i rode a quad for while then i got my first rail. I finally built a new one after 3 years, single seater, looks to be an old barrien frame, rear cage has since been redone, a stock motor with a 3 rib, and ditch digger v's.
picture of the first ride, put it together in a week from frame to riding

This is the reason that I'm tree f***er

My name is Ian Akin I am 22 and probly one of the youngest on here. I go by DUBclub because of where I got to school at UNCW in Wilmington, NC which I will be graduating in May of 2010 in Business Marketing. I work with my Dad in the Family business of picture framing, photography and printing for artists. My Grandpa was known as the guy to know if you drove a VW in Richmond, VA so with my Dad not having a mechanical bone I started to read all of my Grandpa's books, and the rest is it. I always wanted a rail and put it off then when i was 19 I got pnumonia ( however you spell it) and came close to dying twice while in the hospital. When I got out the first thing of my list of things to do was to build a rail and not buy one. I did not know the can of worms I opened since I have not ever worked on much of anything car wise other then speakers in a car. I try everything once and love to be outdoors. My Dad and I do everything together and I knew that I did not have much of a relationship with my Grandpa so building this rail and sticking with a VW powerplant is a way for me to stay close and to make him proud everytime i come to see him. I know he is proud since he always asks me how the project is going and he lights up at the mention of engines and transaxles and no one but me and him can have the convo and now that this weekend comming up (march 20th) he will be turning 87.

Enough rambling here is what my ugly mug looks like and you knwo my rail...the building process
