I acquired a Beeline Cobra Sunday to fix up this winter. It has a Brand New set of Firestone 31x15.50 4 plys on the rear, 2x3 rear arms, 6 rib bus tranny, disc brakes front and back, and is going to have a 2276 on it as well. I will try and get some pics posted.....hopefully it will be done by Spring......Donnie

I have a set that have already been cut if your interested, they are used of course. They have alot of life left in them but a couple of gouges that would require you to run tubes in them. I would take $200 for them...let me know, thanks Donnie

I didn't think it turned out too bad for the amount of money i had in it. It cost me around $80 to sandblast it, and then i bought the paint at Tractor Supply, its Allis Chalmers Orange, for 1 gallon of paint, thinner and harderner, it costs $70. I put a little extra harderner in the last coat to make it shine

Can i use that same kind of paint without the hardener and it still dry good?

why would you want to try it without the hardner? I just read the instructions and mixed it like it said until i was down to the last coat (finish coat) and I added a little more hardner to it for shine, me and a friend of mine painted it, he has painted alot of things and thats what he said the trick was to making it shine. I got the paint, hardner, and thinner all for $70 so my opinion, I would use it, I could see if it was a little more expensive, but for that price it doesn't make sense not to use it.

You can use it w/o the hardener. It will take at least 48 hours to dry, if you keep it above 70 or so, and got a little air circulating. It dries so slow that you can brush it on and it will flow out enough that most all the brush marks will be gone. Gotta put it on a little heavy. Not too heavy, it will sag. It wont be as durable, either, w/o the hardener.

Got the motor in today, picked it up from Shadetree Performance yesterday. Thanks to Shadetree for all the help and support, couldn't ask for a better engine builder, first class all the way.

Anyways, I am running a 2176cc with Dual 40 Dells, 78.4mm x 94mm , 110 cam, 42 x 37.5 valves, alum 6lb flywheel, and man does this thing Scream! I have to get the carbs dialed in yet and a litte fine tuning but hopefully it will be all ready to go this weekend.
