not sure if this fits in the fabrication, suspension, or wheels section?

does anybody make a 4 lug hub that fits a kingpin spindle or what is the best way to to run 4 lug wheels on a kingpin front end without having to use one of those steel 5vw to 4vw adapters?

Cut the baby spuds off and weld on some ball joint spuds. You can get a set of ball joint spuds for $20 and they don’t brake or bend as easy as the king pin spuds.

I think they make bearings for them but I don’t have the part numbers. I remember someone posting the part numbers here a while back, but I can’t find them.

There are 2 different inner ball joint bearings.
If the spindle measures about 1.060" it's early to '68.
If it's 1.125" or so it is the late style.
Outer bearings are the same.
Your 4 lug hub can use either one.
We usually machine the brake surface off a drum to make those.
I can give you the part numbers if you need them.
