ALRIGHT I LIVE AROUND BIRMINGHAM AL. TODAY GAS SHOT THROUGH THE ROOF THEY SAY BECAUSE OF IKE THREATENING TO TEAR UP TEXAS. I STOPPED AT 13 DIFFERENT STORES TO GET GAS AND ALL BUT #13 WAS SOLD OUT AND HAD TO PAY 4.26 A GALLON FOR REGULAR AND HEARD OF PRICES AT 5.18. SO WHERE ARE YOU AT AND IS THIS A PROBLEM AROUND YOU ????

Hell yeah its a problem. Gas went from $3.69 to $3.99 here. Heard it got to $4.49 in SW KY.
Then our Gov. declared some kind of state of emergency thing and they had to hold there prices.
I couldnt believe it when I heard it, but it must be true, They all stopped at 3.99 or less near me.
Made me proud to be a KYian, again!

This is pure bullying, IMO. I heard last week that OPEC was slowing production because consumption was down, that way they could keep the prices high due to supply and demand. That , and this hurricane was just a good excuse to gouge us again.
I think that supply and demand crap for fuel is BS anyways. Worldwide fuel useage could no way fluctuate daily or even weekly to change prices as fast as they do.

Palin did alot to set 'em straight in Alaska, hopefully she'll get the chance to help the fuel consumers nationwide.

The price of the barrel of oil is barley over $100 right now. The gas stations are always looking for a reason to jack the price up. But they take there sweet ass time lowing the price even when there cost goes way down. This has nothing to do with Bush, Mcain, Palin, or Obama. This is about gas station's raping us!

WOW, I feel special! regular gas was 3.44/gal and diesel was 4.29/gal up here. Now ya'll know that since I just said that they'll jack up the prices.

I just got it for $3.79 with the staition across the street at $4.26.This might be out of text for some people on here but "Towel heads" own the station that is 4.26 a gallon.I watched the 9/11 stuff the other night so im feeling pretty patriotic right now,so screw them foreighn bastards.If this gets deleted,i'll understand,a little

Try our gas prices, the other day before Ike, I paid $1.30.4 a liter. That's the best price for miles. That's just under a quart. I've heard .12-.15 cents more over night. So now were back up to about $5.50 a gal.

I can't believe it, they are using mother nature's disasters as excuses to jack the prices up for no reason! I just filled my truck up in Grayson, Ky this past Thursday and got it for $3.77/gal for diesel, no B.S., so I don't know how much it is now down there, but I thought I was in paradise after paying an average of $4.59/gal all year so far. Like they said....why are we paying more for gas when we are getting them from the Middle East? not Texas and/or Louisiana, most of the oil gets off loaded in the Eastern seaboard somewhere, but not in the Gulf.

I sat in line for 20 minutes this morning to get fuel, ONLY because I have to take my little girl to and from her Pre-K every day......I got it at the Kroger and saved 10 cents a gallon so I paid $3.89 a gallon.....but the station across the street was completely out....... We need to be for doing some drilling on the North Slope........
