For those that like this king of stuff the Space Shuttle and ISS will pass over head tonight and will be a good chance to see them in the sky before Wednesday's landing. You can check it out at Spaceweather.com or at science.nasa.gov Since little man and I got to see STS 120 launch in October we have been really involved in tracking the Shuttle missions and the ISS (International Space Station). Thought you might like to see it and show the kids.

Cool...... 8) ........Is it something you can see with the naked eye or do you need a telescope?

Naked eye or Binoculars is better. Telescopes are hard to adjust and move to follow it across the sky. It will be coming right over the top of Jacksonville according to the site.

We watched it for just a little bit only 4 minutes to pass over, had a tree in the way to see it the whole time. Will be able to see it again tonight but there are farther apart getting ready for tomorrows landing at Kennedy.

Me and Sedda Bedda looked for a few minutes but then got too cold... :( ..I had thought it would be something cool for her to see, but then when I weighed it against turning her into a popsicle  I just decided to hope that she could see it again when she was a little bit older....and maybe it was warmer :D

spaceweather.com is a good site to visit the other is sky and telescope.

Sign up for NASA's emailing listing for all kinds of neat things. We have seen the ISS in the day time with the sun bouncing off the solar arrays. Tomorrow night is the lunar eclipse also will last for some time. We are planning of getting pictures of it.

John, you are just slap full of all kinds of useful info 8) Thanks....Maybe we can get a pic of the eclipse, too.....or at least we are gonna try. I have written down the web sites and will be going to them and signing up with Nasa, too......My aunt takes a group of students to Huntsville every year to do the space thing. When I was 13 I went to Washington DC and went through the Smithsonian and thought it was awesome....The Lunar buggy, the little "pods" that the astronauts splashed back down in...The Ryan (Named "The Spirit Of St. Louis") did you know it didn't have a windshield?) that Lindy flew across the Atlantic...I loved all of that.

DUDE! That flag was awesome! Tyler looked like a natural in the lunar vehicle  and he looked ready to splash down in the capsule....what was the rocket farm? I didn't realize, for some reason, that it was all so "user firendly" I guess is the expression.......It appears to be very "hands on" and Yeah, I reckon it would be the dream job......Talk about not ever being late for work! I'd be like, can we just sleep here tonight......

:D It was really cool !! The sky got clear here about 15 min. before the eclipse started. Me and Brandon watched the whole thing. I Have never seen an eclipse, we thought it was neat how the moon turned a red color.

We got to see that last part of it the clouds were out here also. I did get to take some pictures and will post them soon. Talking about NASA I remember being a kid listening to one of the Apollo missions on the radio and wanting to do that. Ever since then I have had a fascination with flying and space. Got to fly in the military on board the P3 and E2's while I was in. Got to take a few fun flights in two seater jets that was unreal and will never be topped no matter what I do. Talk to you soon.
