I think it depends on what you want to do with the property..

If you just want a place for a few friends to play, 20 Acres could work.

If you are looking for a place to set-up an off road park, I think you need at least 300 Acres with some diverse terrain.

If you want people to travel to it I'd say at least 800 acres. But for just a bunch of local guys, 40 on the right terrain could work. Also depends if you are happy climbing the same 5 hills or you want to ride around.

bigger is always better in this case imo, however you and 3 or 4 others can have a fun for a few hours or maybe even a whole day on 30 to 40 acres, just depends on the terrain really
if you want a "park" type place then i would say 100 acre minimum and that would have to be with the "perfect" terrain

when everyones buggy is running good wellsville is small . we can see the whole place in a couple hours .it depends on what kind of riding you like.I like to vencher out for hours at a time so i like a lot of land . but if you like to ride in circles and break stuff then a few acres is good. in my opinion the bigger the better.

I don't know about PA but the insurance cost for a off road park is extremely high.if you are planning on a place for a park then you better have enough land and amenities to bring in enough to justify cost.it's more than just leasing land.but with no more than 100 acres I don't think that would be enough.just ride there and have a few friends to ride with and not a public place like an invite group ride and enjoy it with out all the headaches and cost that comes with a orp.jmo.Chad

Alotta guys around here in Farmington own quads and side by sides. And usually u ride where ever n when ever but.....some new dcnr officer and game commission has put stop to just about all the ridin up here. They have been pull in just about everyone over and in some cases have run guys I. Ditches pull in them over. So it's a risk trying to ride around here anymore :(
