hey guys can you look at this buggy and tell me what you would do.

i think i can get it for 2500.00 even no one has even bid on it yet.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBTOX%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110205003242&_trksid=p3984.cTODAY.m238.lVI

he says its a 2165 but i talked to my buddy and according to him you take 94x82 and it SHOULD be a 2275.

should i trust this auction with the misinformation about the motor?

thanks

kyle

Doesn't look like too bad of a buy. What kind of title, if it has an assembled title it would be a great buy, but I bet its a beetle title.

If I had that kind of money to spend I would buy the packrat that is on here, it looks like a hell of a buy to me, but thats just my opinion.

buggyman i talked to ralston he said a guy is coming to buy the packrat this weekend or i'd be on it.

it has a VW Dunebuggy title. Its listed in the pics.

i just had concerns on if the motor was actually what he says since he was wrong in the cc numbers.

Only way your gonna know whats in the motor is if you tear it down. I thought I had a 2276 as well but when I had Shadetree Performance rebuild it, it turned out it was a 2176, 78.4 x 94, so thats a chance you have to take unless maybe he has receipts for the stuff.

If whoever calls himself "VDUB" on ebay should know what he is talking about when it comes to vw engines, he also listed the pistons "94cc" too. I think it is a misprint, just my 2-cents. :D

sweet went and picked my bug up last night. started it in the parking lot. he "forgot" the battery terminal bolts and only let it run a minute or two.

well all was good. i got it home last night and early today changed the oil and fixed a few things bleed brakes and clutch.

welp got about 10 minutes of riding on it and the damn thing is knockin so hard sounds like your beating on the head with a 10lb sledge.

so thanks ebay and thanks brian from cleveland who won't answer any of my calls now.

You should check into e-bay and see if there is some rules for miss information or incomplete description of vehicle.

If you paid through paypal you can file a dispute with ebay and paypal. They charge you a fee (I believe it's 25.00 bucks, but don't quote me on that)
