 Post subject: detibiter problem

im haven a probelm with my pionts they r not burnin up but it is fryin the wires on the points any ideas :?:

You have the green wire from the condenser hooked to the positve side of the coil.

It has to be on the negative side of the coil or it will melt the point wires.

they r hooked up right but i think the coil is goin out its gettin really hot

Low Impendence coils require a ballest resister in series with the 12 V. Also check Condenser shorting, coil polarity or coil itself.
