does anyone have suggestions for cleaning and keeping wire terminals clean and dry? the only exposed wiring i have is on my coil, choke, idle cutoff, and starter jumper. non-ox only makes dirt stick. what about silicone?

Agreed, works real good. If you can't find it try Dip-it.
If your talking about RTV silicone I understand the chemicals in it attacks the metal in the solderless connector corroding it from the inside out.

does the liquid tape "glue" the terminals on, or can you remove them without too much trouble?

No it does not glue them on. Its only a coating over the terminal. Sorry to get back to you so late.
