I had to do this on mine. You have to have a small circuit that sends a square-wave (30Hz, I think) signal constantly to the ECM to let it run. Check this site out: http://mysite.verizon.net/vze7erz1/id14.html

Read up on it a bit though. Depending on what year you have I think one of the resistors needs to be different.
