 Post subject: Fuses

Does it matter where the fuses are located? For example before or after the switch, relay, etc.
Right now I have the line from the battery going directly into the ignition switch. It goes from there to my fuse block, and on to the switches.

The closer to the battery, the better, imo. That way, they can protect more of the circuit. If you have, say 3 ft. of wire before a fuse, that is 3ft. that is not protected.
