| Post subject: | Oil idiot light |
My oil idiot light comes on when I turn ignition on and then goes out... But if I unplug wire from sending unit it doesn't come on? Am I missing something? Bought a new sending unit and still does the same thing. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk |

1st of all I noticed Sunday that your fan belt is very loose. I could see the belt actually leaping over the pulley as you reved. And the oil wire needs to go from the sender , thru the lite, and then to the "run" or "accessory" side of the key switch. I guess you have it going to "start". Get a Top Cog belt from Autozone. They may have to order it, but they are the best. |

Both of my buggies had the light come on when ignition got turned on then went off i thought that was normal |

Oil light should come on with ignition turned on. It goes out after the engine is running and the oil pressure builds high enough to break circuit to ground. |
