Buggy barn your pulling up some pretty old threads. But lets just say I took your advice awhile ago and ran 16g.

The wire going from the warning light to the alternate. Does it carry any current? Will 18 gauge wire be sufficient? |

The wire only see's current when the light is on. and it's only carrying voltage for the light nothing more 18 ga. should be just fine . |
