Post subject:  alternator to light wire?

The wire going from the warning light to the alternate. Does it carry any current? Will 18 gauge wire be sufficient?

The wire only see's current when the light is on. and it's only carrying voltage for the light nothing more 18 ga. should be just fine .

Buggy barn your pulling up some pretty old threads. But lets just say I took your advice awhile ago and ran 16g. :lol:
