I need an alternator to complete my build for my rail... I found a guy selling an Empi alternator with backing plate and fan and stand with strap for less than 140.00 to my door... is this good enough for my rail... I do plan to add a few lights... but as it is I still need to wire it all up.

I know bosh all the way... but I just thought this may just do the trick... I do have a stand and CB perf. backing plate but none of the other parts...

need:
Alternator
fan
strap
all hardware and shims

thoughts?

That does not sound like a great deal for a 55A alternator.. If you are going to pay full retail price, I would suggest calling one of our sponsors and make sure you get all the right parts you need.

Tim at Southern Buggies is a great resource for parts. 606-864-2217
