Did you check your rev limiter (white pill) if it went bad? I had a buddy with the same setup on his boat and it quit on him and he replaced it with another one just to see what happens and it fired right up, just sharing some info with you. It doesn't matter what rpm pill it is, just try it to see if it fires up and also take the white wire coming out of the box (unplug distributor first) and tap it on a good ground and see it your coil fires, either way is a good troubleshooting reference on the MSD systems.

Thanks for the information but i think im still going to try the D.U.I.....If i can get the same performance and not have a coil and ignition box mounted on my buggy then it would be worth the money just for the cleaner look. Hopefully less weight....HaHaHa

i just looked up d.u.i. thats pretty cool I didnt know they ever was such an animal. in my opinion you dont get any better than gm h.e.i. gm used it for a long time. they have an infinately adjustable timing curve. how much are you finding this for? id like to have one I was going to get a richporter pointless before i seen this.

I pulled an old hei distributor out of the dust and reminded myself how big the cap is. this will not work with a single carb or a mechanical fuel pump. Otherwise this should be a great distributor.

so, who has tried this, and what performance gains have you seen in comparison to a full MSD setup? Really considering one of these, but if I'm not going to gain much more performance, then I'm going MSD...
