Terry you swap the supercharger for a turbo setup and youll free up a good increase in power.
h. Yes i would, but I would no make it in the lower rpm's like I am now. He had a dyno graph of a tubocharged ecotec and it did't make power till like 5000.

What turbo? All depends on turbo size and trim. My buddys got a turbo ecotec with a T2 turbo. Hits in very low rpms.

Sorry to thread jack!

It was a 2007 cobalt ss I think.

In that case! lol I could buy a couple ecotec's for the price of 1 honda engine. The swap went so easy in my buggy and impressed with the reliability and power, I even thought of swaping it into my blown Mazdaspeed protege.

Nope sorry that most likely has the H22 engine. Counter clockwise rotation.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Honda_engines

Go down the list to the H22 and you will find the 1997-2001 Prelude with the H22.

Your honda choices are the K series or a V6 honda.

all honda 4 cylinders rotate counter clockwise * except the K series *. Any K series honda 4 cylinder engine has the correct rotation to work with the vw transaxle.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_K_engine

Heres info on the K series engine and cars to look for with these engines.

Well first off I think I've seen a few comments on here about buying american whether its harleys or tools. SO WHY NOT WC MOTORS! I love the fact that I run a GM waterpumper on stock plugs and maybe 2 oil changes that is turning 15 this season, lol. Its heavy but does great for a trail rider / medium hill climber. And yes I know It wont win a hill climb contest. ( But I blame the weak tranny for that, a good mid-engine tranny and crank the ponies out of it, then maybe) But that is another thread 8) . Now throw us into a wooded / hilly version of the baja 1000. Then let see a stroker run hard for 4 to 12 hours, woo hooo. But as I've said before, who cares what it runs on, I just love these things and wanna ride. Ok, who's next on the soap box?

You know with just some simple cams and a good tuning I can be pushing just as much hp n torque as that honda v6 with 100 lbs less weight. I did a lot of research on engines when I was ready to upgrade the old vw. An I porb could of dont alot more. But the foreign engines just cost to damn much compared to domestic (9 out of 10 times). Im also about to rebuild my dd engine (mazda) and its costing me an arm n leg for parts.

I don't know who started the rumor that a Harley was American .Between me and Karen we have had 9 Harleys and I only had 4 that were American made and I pushed them suckers more than I drove them
1984 the Evo was made thus ending the so called American made bike
