Going to build a buggy, last on I built I used a saturn motor with great success. I am getting ready for an other build and I will not run a VW so, what is the weight of a subi motor? |

4 cylinders are about 250lbs -275 lbs,,add another 100lbs for the 6 banger,,then add a little for the coolant and radiator,,the weight is sitting in a good place right over the pulling tires. The added dependaility makes it easy to accept the added weight,,at least for me,,,I never worked on a carburetor that it didn't end up worse. |

My Suby 2.2 weighs 252 with rad and gal water! Would consider no other. |
