Which suby engine did you get? I got my adapter from Kennedy Engineering Products. Small Cars bell housing looks good.

Kennedy is the place to get your adaptor plate they also provide wiring information for the Subie/ VW swap. I got my clutch and p/plate from them as well.
I had mine on a chassis dynometer a couple of years ago. It ran 121 ftlb 100 hp at the wheels.
What trans are you planning to use?
I can hook you up on wiring info if you need it.

I'm only guessing bout the HP,,but I would say close to the 1915. What tires you running,,,my rev limiter does not come in hardly any with 456 and 31's,,your 482 with ej22 might come in with 31's when you stick your foot in it on long hills or drag races.

i run 31's i thought the suby would have a good bit more power than the vw but at least it will be less maintnance

Don't take my word on the HP,,My buggy is heavy,,,real heavy. I know I like it a lot with the ej22. I am sure you will like the ej22 too.

Can't answer that for sure. What I can tell you is you'll notice a big differance. Also worth noting SubieSteve had a 2070, a damn good running 2070 before his swap, it's safe to say we all know what he thinks about the power differance.
Rev limiter ?? Hell I'm on a first name basis with it.
My 6 rib is stuffed with Wedle parts, not so cheap insurance. Keeps me behind the wheel instead of wrenching all the time.
I opted for 930 CV's again not so cheap insurance, for the same reason.
SubieSteve is having good luck with type 2/4 CV's and I know PlumberBill has 930 stuff.
You will be the 6th Subie powered car at Wellsville that I know of so far.
