Does anybody know where to get 2.2 stuff. I found alot of 2.5 stuff but not very much for the older 2.2.

Webcam sells several camshafts for subarus. You may want to check with them. Subi cam's are high $$$ stuff. I priced a set of cam's for my 98 2.5 DOHC and it was around $1000 just for cams.

DELTA regrinds. http://deltacam.com/
throttle body spacer (I'm running a Group A one in my wagon. took a little (very easy...) modification to mate to the OBD I throttle body.
equal length exhaust header
Grimmspeed phenolic intake manifold spacers (tell him I sent you....probably won't get a discount, but then I can bitch at him for not sending business my way like he promised  )

that's about all there is for an N/A engine. but that will give it quite a bit more grunt.

If you regrind the cam for more duration or whatever,,will the computer accept it? I assume it will since it don't seem to be an issue.. and then how do you decide what grind to use,,mimmick a hot cam used in the AC world? Or has the hot Suby's already figured it out? :?

Yesterday I got the new camed motor fired up. It has a lope at idle and the throttle responce is instant. I had to put a new motor together since I lost a valve guide a couple of weekends ago. This one only has 184000 on it instead of 216000. I cant wait to get out in the woods and see how it runs. I will say Delta cams has it down pat. Sounds strong running it around the parking lot. Smokes the tires right off (might need to invest in 930 now).
