How much and what model k series engines? All of them around my area are 1-2 grand. On wiki here is a good info site on all the honda K engines. Id really like to get my hands on a k24A2 out of a TSX.

It's a K20S I believe. Out of a 2004 RSX. He has the whole swap with the ECU and everything including the transmission but I do not want the 6 speed. He does not want to split it up. I am working on him..........

I am going to go with a K motor eventually, I am sure.

I never would have thought that you would go water cooled.

I found a deal on one. It's the base motor though. Talked to my son today about what it needs to make some power. (He is a Honda tech and drag races them)
The base K20 only makes 160 horsepower and has 9-1 compression. We are going to up it to 11-1 compression and port it.
We are shooting for 235 wheel horsepower. Normally aspirated, NO turbo. JE pistons and Eagle rods, head work and a custom ECU and custom camshafts.

Why would I possibly consider a water cooled swap? Why not? I can make twice the horsepower for less money and it will last twice as long. Seems like something I would like to try. I guess my 2500cc air cooled is not going to happen.
Let the plans begin......

I will have it done for Memorial Day, 2010. Not this year.

well it should say what engine it is right on the left side of the block I beleive. Left side of block as if you were looking at it from the front of the car.
