Well I found a 2.0 supercharged ecotec today complete with wiring harness, computer, sensors, and only 13k miles for 1500.00. I think this will be the next buggy conversion |

Really? I need to find one for my car, it's got over 124k miles now! That would definitely be a worthwhile engine for a buggy. Light engine, lotsa power! If you ever have any questions about modifying it for power, let me know, I've learned a lot about these things since I got my car. |

That sounds like great numbers, but rember you need to be able to put it to the ground. |

I talked to Phil today from Phil's bug shak he said he would more than likely have his 2.0 s/c ecotec ready for turkey run in Lewis County we will see if he can get it to the ground. |

I know of a kit for you to get 275 to 300 hp very safely (they claim it's safer than the GM tune) for less than $500, but for me to give up that info I want to know where you're getting your engine! |

Gotcha, figured it was something like that. Over the top performance sells a stage 1 kit that's a really good deal. The power ratings on the website are underrated. If I had a lower mileage engine on my car that would be in it! |
