Thats for transmission cooler. I have the same rad in the garage. There should be another one down lower. Is it leaking? |

as long as the nuts are tight in the tank, you dont have to do anything. Somtimes the fitings come loose and leak water from the fiting. I would plug them incase you need a cooler and keep dirt out. |

If that is the tranny cooler connection, why couldnt one run the engine oil thru it? Or would it get too warm running it through the radiator? |

Passages in tranny coolers usually too small to run oil thru. They wont flow enough volume thru them. Found that out the hard way a few years ago. . Larry |
