I have the 2.2L Turbo and it runs great. Lots of cheap power (174hp) but a little on the heavy side with the iron block compared to an air cooled engine. A set of 3X3 trailing arms helped with the weight distribution. |

Im going to use this in my kit car, about how much longer was it than a stock vw and the waight is about 75Lb more? do you have any pics of you set up. |

The weight may not matter much on a kit car. You may need to readjust the springs in the rear or better yet go with bags and adjust later from your driver seat. |

I purchased the first engine (non-turbo) and it had the adapter and flywheel on it. Kennedy adapters sells adapter kits for just about anything. There is a topic called "water cooled turbo buggy" under the water cooled section with a few pictures. I will try to answer any questions you have. If you decide to use megasquirt for the fuel and spark I will also send you the msq file I'm using. I also have a msq file for the 2.2L running throttle body fuel injection. Hope this helps. |

i got the stock computer with the deal so i was going to try that first. i have also been looking on some dodge forums and there is a lot of stuff out there for them, what cv's did you blow out? i am going to use 924/944 cv's so i hope that stay together. |
