the wiring will work on both now.

Are you going to do something else with the exhaust? Looks good just seen the pipes and didn't know if you are still fabbing on it.

I didn't use any other than bolting to the transaxle. I did brace off the tranny mount and may need to do some more bracing. It don't hurt anything to use additional motor mounts. My motor is doing fine but my motor probably don't the torque that Plumberbill's has. Mine is sitting up there like an ac engine. :?

thanks guys, i wasn't going to do motor mounts but after talking to madmike and odyknuck it just seemed like the wise thing to do. there's gonna be a lot of torque with this motor. i think a few of you remember what mike's 2.2 did to his trailing arm last summer.(that was last summer right?) now is the time to do the little extra things that will pay off this summer.
the bender is a sweet thing but what really make's it work is the bend-tech software i have. no more guessing, plug in the dimensions, mark the tubing and bend. less waist and very accurate bends. a notcher is a must have tool along with the bender.

You don't necessarily HAVE to use motor mounts Nick but it bill be alot stronger if you do. If you just hang it off of your 6 rib without motor mounts it will break your bell housing if you are in a crash or a rollover.

the 2.5 dohc subie certainly is more weight than my vw motor. my 6 rib tranny is secured to the frame at the top and the bottom of the bell housing but, to have that much weight hanging there without support is just a problem waiting to happen.
roy i dont plan on rolling anytime soon so everything should be ok.
