Hello w/c guy's, I'm planing on going with a Ecotec 2.4, How do they climb compared to a a/c 2 litre or bigger? I now that the buggy has a lot to do with it also, Just trying to get some peace of mind.

You will do fine with it . Just keep your weight close to the front and use longer arms. We have one of each .

Thanks helmetguy, watching you and terry fryer on youtube got my wheels turning. The chassis i ordered has the cockpit moved forward. I'll just have to get some longer arms, I have extra 2x3's now. I saw the custom fuel tank on your's. Have to see if i have enough room.

Use a high gear if you're gonna climb with it to take advantage of the torque you have. I seen some 2.4s with 311 first and 456 r and p do really good.!

Check this out... We can control the cams and give you almost 100% of full torque at 2000 RPM

Thanks guys, got to get a trans built. I have two nose shift six ribs not sure what they have as far as r/p or first gear but will get the proper parts for the extra torque. Impressive Alpha fab!
