I'm ordering a surge tank tomorrow I was going that direction anyway just thought I would try to start it. But I was told if there was no need for a return with the pump that I got

Looks great, seems like it was a quick install. Also be careful of those fan mounts if you don't already know, we just made a shroud to mount the fans on my buddy's Subaru buggy cause they almost wore holes in the radiator and it has only been on half a dozen trips since they were first put on. Keep up the good work!!!

Now im thinking about it. I believe the 2.4 the pump kicks on and off keeping the psi right. So it should start.

Yep in Darrell's garage.

I made mine out of some 4" sq welded my fittings on the drilled them out and welded ends on. Also put some of that gas tank sealant stuff in there.

I made my surge tank out of a piece of aluminum tube. easy as hell and only have about $30 in it. I cant find any pictures of it.

Ecotecs don't use pcv valves so the breather filter should be replaced with a vacuum hose to the air intake. It is baffled under the cam cover to keep it from sucking oil and maintains a negative crankcase pressure making it a no dripper engine.

Took it to A.F.I Sunday he met me half way..I got them doing a few other things also great people up there always willing to help ..wont know nothing till about Wednesday Mike ...But it's gonna be bad ass im thinking :mrgreen:

Just wanted to say thanks 2 AFI . Really a good group of guys very professional and will go out of their way to help you . I would recommend AFI too anyone that is thinking about going Ecotech .
