Bluecat did a 2500 with superflow heads drag motor and it only put down 115hp 140tq at the wheels. Like I said we need to get a good eco and a well built 2500 on the same dyno. Because zzp's dyno is about 50hp higher than bluecat. They had zzp do a dyno then phil did it the next day and they lost 50hp.

I'm not putting anything down ..but I would like to see. .so any 2500s that would be willing to do this let me know ..because I think everyone is wondering. .And no one puts there numbers out there..But I did ..Like I said I'm not trying to put air cooled down because they climb great..

well i would put money down my subaru is putting down 150 at the wheel and plan to find out after i get the prog ecu.... my buddy has a well built 2276 and it has nothing on a subaru 2.5 or echo... its hard to get a vw to have the power curve we have its ether up top or down low up dont have that steady power curve to 7000 and im not knocking vw at all if i had the money i would of bought my dads 2500 and im telling you this ive drove both and the echo will burn it up now since its been tunned... now that being said that dont mean any of these motors cant climb the same hills or do the same thngs in the woods

It was a special mixed purple color.. I used a Nassim acrylic enamel it's tough I smacked a few trees with the tree bars never even phased it.

115 out of a 2500 drag motor lmao .......who built that. Sure there was a reason that it made those numbers.I'll put my 2500 on the dyno when it is done. I ride with a 2.4 ecotec and for sure they are a beast and are a hell of a lot cheaper than a Vw .

Dave just passing on what bluecat told me. I jist want to see someone put a 2.4 2.2 or 2.0 sc, and a good 2500 on the same dyno same day so we can see how they compare. But bluecat has done alot of vw's and that is the only one that's made over a 100hp at rear wheels you loose about 30% thru drivetrain. I really believe there will be some hearts broken when it happens

I like them both BUT get one to dyno a 2500 that runs the woods . promise I will do mine. Do t know if it will beat that but the t won't be 115 HP..!!!!!

I know what I had in my 2500 it had the best of the best ..I'm thinking Greg would love to dyno it ..So I'm going to see if I can get it set up ..I think people are talking this all wrong .Just because one makes more hp don't mean that both isn't great in the woods. .once we get all of this eco.stuff figured out tho .the average guy can go and put a buggy together and not having to spend 5- 7000 on a motor will be a great thing keeps more people in the sport. I really love the aircooled Motors I still build them all the time for guy's. Let's make a long story short let's share our information so the guy behind us can build their buggys at a fair price. .Both are bad ass in my book no matter what the number are..

I'm gonna try it the way it is Mike for now ..if it runs good in my heavy old buggy I'm leaving it alone and gonna enjoy riding for a while. .but the end of next season. ..that's another story to be shared on here. .lol
