This is my hunt. I really like the ac delco I picked up and it has more top end now so I think the summit pump was falling off some or had something to do with it coming apart.

What are you guys doing to run your throttle cable to the throttle body on the ecotec. And does anyone have a part number for a comparable pump that will run that motor from autozone? So that I can get a warranty with what I buy Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2 |

i made my own cable and my fuel pump came from summit. Summit brand i think i paid about 85.00 and its still going 4 years later. |

The tb is operated electricly by a motor on the side of it,which is controlled by the ecm. I used a stock cobalt pedal which was controlled through a cable to accelerator pedal that we normaly use on a buggy. I wanted to keep the cobalt pedal dry. Sent from my SCH-I545L using Tapatalk |

I do have cable. Figured out that one. Used the dogleg off stock vw cable imto where the ball on stock ecotec goes. Now just need fuel delivery. Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2 |

Mine is a 2.2 ecotec. Had a summit, did not last. Now a E2000, so far its been good and a lot less noise. Do you have a returnless fuel setup? If so this may save you some $. Fuel filter and regulator in one. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/LS1-Fuel- ... 41793.html Norm |

Maybe, I don't know. I wish I had seen a filter like those. I ended up making my fuel rail a return style and then adding a reg. I could of save a bunch going with a reg/filter. |
