starting new buggy. going to the so called dark side,ooooh,liquid cooled.have purched a 2.4 ecotec.i have somewhat got what i need figured out, except ,what dry sump system to run ,or is anyone even running a drysump.

Haven't run one on my sc buggy for about 4 or 5 years now with no trouble. And all the ecotec buggies I ride with haven't had any trouble. Just protect your oil pan they will break easy. When hitting a rock or something

Agreed. No need on a stock to mild system; make sure you have a good skid pan. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket check these guys:

I have cracked an oil pan but they are all over the junkyards. A stronger skid plate an its all good.

Racebug and I run a Moroso oil Accumulator or Canton accusump . Drews did have Canton I think it is 3 QT of oil .

I could see a need for this is you want to sit the motor lower. Been thinking a lot about this myself, will be following this thread to see what you end up doing.
