The stock exhaust manifold is fine unless you are blessed with money and want a stainless header
Call Speedway Motors 800.979.0122 and ask for their Afco Dynatech catalogue and pick a radiator that suits your dimensions, it's custom stuff that is competitive in price compared with automotive might fit
My personal choice of fuel pumps is Bosch found in late 80's Fords, bulletproof, quiet, easy to mount, easy to find, etc.
any throttle cable you're using to pull open a carb will work on a Cavalier throttle body so nothing special needed there
I also prefer to keep the MAF because it compensates for variations in fuel quality whereas a speed density tune requires the use of a consistent quality race type fuel
Good luck in your change to ECOTEC and share some pics

I have two of these ecotecs and love them. I got a chambered muffler and a couple of u bends from summit racing and that worked out very good. Also I am running a fuel pump I got off eBay http://http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=320636930807&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=34226686526 looks like the price went up a little since I bought the last one but they work perfect and are quite. As far as the throttle cable I was able to use the cable that came off the car I got the engine out of and tie it into my cable on the buggy

I also used the stock manifold and a magnaflow.
Mid 90's Jeep Cherokee radiator (31 x 11)
Mid 80's Ford pump for a van or pickup.
For a throttle cable, bulk bicycle brake cable, 110 lb working, 200 lb breaking.

Some times I wish I would of picked a different radiator and put it where my muffler is or angled it so I could see out the back better but it has never over headed even when I unplug my fans. The temp came up to 210 one time after I unplug my fans and let it set still for about 15 to 20 min. Then plug them back in and it drop back down after a 1 min or 2.

Don't hang anything other than a small w/c 4 cyl off the back. Go narrow baby chains or passat. Those un commanded wheelies will get ya killed and often you have to get off the gas just to continue climbing , and then the crowd cannot understand why you had to roll back down and get out of the way. Too wide and you won't have any side to side playing room or 1 wheel has to ride up in the weeds. Uncle Si has made all these mistakes in the past. I'll take hate now. 8)

We have used several of these radiators with good luck http://bit.ly/1b42vpW
we use a 1700 com flex lite fan.
We use this pump and filter setup http://www.speedwaymotors.com/LS1-Compl ... 41792.html
We use the stock manifold and just put a U-bend on and attach a muffler like this http://www.appletreeauto.com/BIG-SHOT-S ... -AC251085/

Why are you going with the the older 2.2?

A little more expensive, but the Ron Davis radiator setup for the Tatum car allows easy coolant routing.

We like the short ram headers; medium tube in progress...

In terms of EFI fuel system we convert to return style.
