Just bought a 1997 Legacy wagon and drove 2 hours and got home safely. The body is trashed as well as the brakes , but it rolled till I got home. The motor is strong and the drive train is in excellent shape. I could not find any traces of oil in coolant or vise verse. Finding a CL deal and jumping on it immediately cost only $525. I am excited!!!

It's an EJ22 and 198k miles however the motor was replaced some time ago. This is one of those deals that I don't regret :D, lol, now I am hunting for a complete 1.8T passat for my other rail as I need projects to keep me busy in this cold winter.
