Ive looked all over and have seen info on Cooling, Adapters, and Wiring Optionsbut nothing on theThrottle body swap. I have agreat Tuner in my and Myonly concern is, Is Would I be better off tryin to find a cable throttle Engine to trade mine for or just do the swap?

Mine was also wire drive if you want to change you need to pick up a new harness and ecu along with cable TB. The new TB will bolt right up but you will need to get 2 new longer bolts.

we simply took the throttle body off and switched it to a cable operated one. direct bolt on.

The ignition trigger is a different number of teeth which prevents using the earlier 16 bit ECM in place of the newer 32 bit ECM. One option is to retain the original acc. pedal in a waterproof enclosure and cable operate it with a "normal" gas pedal. I used an ammo box wich also houses the ECM and is located close to the engine. There will be tune issues with the DBW such as lag times and decay times of pedal which can be addressed with a custom tune.

DBW has been proven for crisp throttle response with the right tune.

Also to consider is the fact that eventually all cars will be DBW and this means the available donor motors.
