What are you guys running?

I just traded for giveitagallon's buggy and the summitt fuel pump is on borrowed time. It runs for about 30 minutes or so then the pump warms up and shuts off.

I want to stop and Napa on my way home from work tomorrow, buy a fuel pump that will work correctly, and install it. It's ran inline, plenty of room to mount it, shouldn't be anything crazy needed. I've ran a Ford Crown Victoria pump inline before, I was unsure about the pressure needed and wanted to make sure before I did something wrong.

Thanks.

I think any EFI pump should work. Your Subaru should have a fuel pressure regulator at the end of the fuel rail right before the return. The pressure should be around 45psi I believe. I run a walbro 225 or something... its been a while  its a very common pump.

Receiving stolen property is one thing, receiving stolen property that has crossed state lines makes you a felon.

That's the one I went with. It ended up not being the fuel pump anyways though. A connector on the wire had mud in it and was arcing in and out.

That pump is loud, I can't even hear the motor running at idle.

Outfront Motorsports gave me one with my motor and it works like a champ. They said they use to use bosch but these outlast them 2 to 1.

The Walbro is the most common replacement pump with the Subaru guys. I would go with it.
