You a/c guys just don't get it. I am one of the very first to put a Subie in a woods car. Since then, shit I have lost count, 2 dozen since. The number speaks for them selves, Echotecs, Honda's the list goes on and on. The reasons most wont switch over, they have too many VW parts sitting on the shelf or the conversion is, 1 to expensive or 2, way over their head.
Lets just agree to disagree, you go your way and we will go ours, and try to keep up.

Glad you noticed it for what it is, a joke. Some take it to personal, like I just hit on their best girl friend or something.

Yes hyde you should be laughing out loud, you were the only AC guy to make it that day. I thought it was funny myself.

Most of the time one of us has issues making a hill it has little or nothing to do with the engine in my opinion. Seems like it is ussually just traction issues. The main reason I love my engine is not that it is the highest horsepower or anything like that, because rick I bet yours does have a few more ponies and a much better geared tranny, but because it runs the same everytime for little money invested. I have had problems twice, once when I didnt get the ground wire tight after switching out my broken six-rib, and once when I learned you need to clean your airfilter more then once a year, lol. Still ran with no sputter even though the insides of my K&N were touching  just lost some bottom end. I am still always amazed at what a non-VW aftermarket AC motor can do. Would be nice if the cooled off better in the dog days of summer though.
