I'm not sure if this has been discussed here before. There is an upstart American made motorcycle company from Birmingham, AL that is in the process of testing their product. What they offer is a 160# v4 engine with 160 hp. If it all works out this may possibly be good power for a featherweight single seater hill shooter. At this stage of the game they are considering outright sale of just the engine.

looks like the scat v-4. more or less it was a half a small block chevy.

That's a two piece block with a top and bottom plus the oil pan.
I see a ground clearance problem, crank is in center of block, too much hanging below the crankshaft.

`Wow! I live a mile from the Barbers race track and I hear all kinds of high hp and rpm where they test and race.I did not know about Motus but , awesome!
