picked up 96 legacy friday..decided to not use the 3.3 anymore too much motor for my buggy lol..so i gonna try 2.5 out

Careful. That was the first year of the 2.5, and was pretty high-maintenance. I would HIGHLY recommend a complete rebuild before running it. I'll be putting a 2.2 in a '96 outback for a friend this spring. going to get it's Subaru reliability back! |

oh yeah i dont know whole bunch bout 2.5..i thought 95 was first year 2.5 but i not sure..car has 94K on it..has blown tranny..i hope it turns out be good engine for me..least i know i wont need my carb cleaner at haspins lol..like my 1915 vw i used have lol..i just trail rider and i tried out the subi 3.3 and now i wantin try out the 2.5..hope it turns out ok for me..i ready ride around n have some fun
