I started my motor for the first time 2 weeks ago. Then again today it was running good I let it get up to temp (idle for about 20 mins) turned it off let it cool. then started it again this time a reved on it some 3k 4 or 5 times then 5k but when it came down it idled a few sec then stoped.

So looking at everything it has no code. i pulled the fuel rail turned it over fuel was good. pulled the coil put plugs in turned it over and no fire so could it be it was just its time to die and i need a coil(anyone know how to see if one is good :?: )i put a Multimeter to the plug going to the coil and turned it over a few volts at each

any ideas would help thanks

Your saying when the rpm came down that it shut off instead of idle correct?

check your idle valve give it a good cleaning.

No its did not idle at all it it hit 5k cut out some and know it will not start and it has no fire at the plugs.

Im thinking its the Ignition Control Module but dont know does this sound right?

So you have no spark. coil pack probably bad. Got anyone you could swap out just too test it? Maybe a junk yard trip? Buddy had this problem. Got one of the junk yard for $30 n started right up. Not sure though how to bench test.

I just checked the oms over the coils 1-4 is 4.07 and over 2-3 is 4.07 so im thinking it the Ignition Control Module that sets on the coils anyone have one go out before.

Being all freshly installed i'd check power and grounds to the module before buying parts. Maybe you already did. :?: My car quit running shortly after i finished my swap and it was just a poorly crimped terminal on a wire to the fuel pump relay.

I agree with you tw I would go back and run continuity on all my wires and double check your crank sensor
plug and wires. If they are grounding out it will do that.
