Now that I have it running, its time to built a new intake! I found a inexpensive ITB (individual throttle body) intake made to fit under the hood of a Subaru. I can use the throttle bodies and make my own intake.

Got back at it again this weekend. had to finish fabbing up velocity stacks and had to remachine just about everything on these throttle bodies from injector ports to fuel rails.

I have spent the past 3 days trying to get the throttle blades to seal up by sanding away by hand little by little. The lowest it will idle is about 1800 rpm. just cheap Chinese castings!

spent 6-7 hours on the dyno yesterday. Not thrilled with the numbers, but he says his dyno is stingy. He figures it should be around 220-230HP at the flywheel. It does better than a stock WRX on that dyno. Not bad for NA.

That's not far off what we had with the rotary, and that had plenty enough grunt to be fun - when it wasn't blowing up. :lol:

That's sweet! It's got to be relieving to not just walk past all the projects on the bench. I need to get motivated and get some things done on mine (not as bad ass though)!!
