I need a gearbox with reverse to go to the cvs. I just might try it.

I think that any low end torque would be lacking.

The drive line on that type of Buggy is similar to my Pilots. It uses an RPM gearbox ($2500.00) coupled to a CVT setup off of a Snowmobile. Not really the best setup for crawling around the Woods of Wellsville in your car, its to heavy IMHO. Would be a good Woods setup in a mid size chassis less than 900#. Half way between a Pilot and and a standard size buggy. BTW the Blonde is the owners wife. He is a member of Minibuggy.net

I thought about a street bike engine buggy too but dont think it wouuld be ideal. The engines arent cheap. They are higher maintence. The power band isnt ideal. Theres lots of power but torques weak. Weight has to be low. The engines are ment for a light motorcycle n when you put them in a heavy buggy the engines wear out alot faster.

Would be cool but no way its better then an Ecotec! lol

Ive got a freind that owns a motorcycle junk yard here in alabama. he has a 1200cc motor that was run in a dwarf car. he is wanting to put it in a buggy. I think it would be bad ass. The only problem is finding a combination with reverse.
