I called a couple of salvage yards looking for a 2.2 Subaru and they said that the engine with a manual transmission is different than one with a automatic. So what do I need to ask for? I am new to the suby thing and don't have a clue. Any advice would be helpful. |

newer cars (2000ish+) did have the timing belt guide, and a different EGR setup. and wiring is a bit different. in the '90-94 OBD I ones though. Engine and ECU are identical. wiring is only a little different. |
