Something to keep in mind when extending the rear section. The farther you get behind the the wheels the steeper the approche angle. Meaning you have less clearence to drag going from flat ground up a hill and visa versa. You essentially lose ground clearence. Food for thought.

"Baby chains" already set his wheels way back....an extra 4.5" should be ok 8)

Glad I could help. Looks like it turned out really good. I think I'm out of 3/4 .120 wall tubing. I only had a little bit left and I think I let a buddy of mine have the rest of it cause he needed it to finish up something. I already have some more on order so it should be here this week.

I am changing the harness. The eg33 is very similar to the ej22 but different. I am using a speed sensor simulator from enginewiring.com this time. One less thing outside the ammo box. I made a speed sensor for the ej22. I understand some ej22's don't absolutely need the speed sensor but mine did idle better with it. I wll hold off till the end to put the harness on. Easier to route small wires than hoses, cables, bracing,,etc.

What is the simulator? Is it just a voltage divider to trick the ECU? Or Is it a electronic pulse generator. What did he charge you for it?

It just tricks the ECM. Here is a link,,,it's $40 shipped. I probably had close to that in my home made setup

I made a sensor using a hall effect switch exactly like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=017

and magnets like these

http://cgi.ebay.com/20-Neodymium-Magnet ... 1|294%3A50

I used 4" schedule 40 pvc ( is this correct,,Plumber Bill? the thick stuff) I'm pretty sure about this use apporximate 1.5" section of 4" schedule 40 and a 1.5" section of like size coupler with the 3 or 4 magnets, I used 3 because it's easy to space them by the cv bolt holes  . These sizes are for putting on a 930 cv.. Here is a pic of a set unfinished and the one I just removed from the ej22. Notice they are cut, this aids in putting them over the axle and it also makes them fit the 930 cv snuggly. Drill the holes in the coupler for the magnets and epoxy them in after you glue the other 2 sections together with the slits lined up.. Then make a bracket to hold the hall effect switch about a quarter inch off the magnets , I bolted mine with one of the starter bolts.

What happened to putting the motor mounts aside and doing other things with the project while I built your mounts? I've already cut them out and drilled the tubing for the sleeves.

The SVX had a tension pulley for the belt but I modified the bracket and use the alternator to tension the belt now

I moved the radiator forward a couple inches to allow the air tube to fit the throttle body. And got the radiator plumbed.

I like the way it looks with 35" boggers but mine are only 10.50 wide. Any wider is gonna be pretty heavy. The 33's look good but not enough height gain to justify leaving the V-treads. Is there a V-tread in a 33 but not as wide as the 15.50's so as not to gain too much weight?,,I know I'm rambling,,just thinking out loud. I want to try some wider boggers but I don't want to brake trannys. Who knows,,with the extra weight and power the 35X10.50's may be fine :?
