pipe dope i work at townsend ford in tuscaloosa al. at my employee discount i can get the clutch kit for 295.25 plus 9 percent sales tax. but you would also have to ship it to your house. kit includes disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing. |

Get ya an aftermarket dual disk or something from Valair, South bend, or one of those companies. You'll never have to worry about it again. -Dakotah/koko |

I'm running a Valair ceramic / kevlar disc and a 3400# plate in the Dodge and I've had really good luck with it so far. It is just a tad grabby and the pedal is really firm but it still tows nice once you get the hang of it. They also offer organtic and brass woven facings, and if I remember right those aren't much more than a stock replacement clutch. There website is www.valairinc.com |

Good call. Go with Valair, Brian. From the way every body on the Cummins Forum acts, they're the best to get. I'll just stick to my built auto. -Dakotah/koko |

LuK clutches and torque convertors. best there is. make majority of oem clutches and torque convertors, and pieces and parts for other companies that try to make them. wish you guys could see the machinery in our factory, it is cutting edge, and me being on the electrical end, i get to dig around in the electrical cabinets, its amazing what you can do with electricity and mechanics! lick your fingers and twist wire nuts! |

C5 1982 thru 1986, not as good as the C4. C5 was aluminum case, the C4 was cast iron. |
