I have a lifetime CCW permit and this is what I carry.

Don't laugh because it's just a S&W Airweight .38........
I'd hate to get hit by it.

I like it because I can put it in my back pocket and you wouldn't know I was packing heat.
I've had Smith .357's and various 9mm autos.
Never was comfortable with the auto, too many buttons and switches.
.357 was just too much gun for personal protection IMHO.
The intimidation factor is pretty high though.............

anything is better then nothing at all. 38 in close proximity should do the trick.

just the other day here in cleveland a guy was robbed at gun point getting into his car. they took his money then made him get in and told him to drive to an a.t.m. the guy started to drive then decided to bale out, they shot him in the leg when he bailed. call me crazy but this stuff just seems to happen more and more and it seems to be closer to home then ever before.

I would have drove the car into a pole or a parked car. I don't have the name wreckincars for nothing.

Anyways, when ever I get around to it I'm gonna get my ccw. I have a few firearms now but I will pick up a snub nose revolver. For the simple fact that revolvers work every time.
On a lighter note you could get a desert eagle 50, the if you miss you can just club them with it.

If the 50 cal doesn't do it for ya. I have .44 revolver. True it's black powder, so it takes a while to reload. But after six rounds nobodys gonna be hanging around. At 15'' it's a little difficult to hide though

I carry a Glock 27 .40 sub compact with extra finger on the clip.

It is the most recomended larger sized gun (compared to say the little pocket pistols and stuff) I have ever seen. If you want one small enof to really hide in say your pocket or something. Get a Kalteck .32 or .38. Someone else also makes one much like the Kalteck. Caltech? Anyways you get the point. 8)
