Did sundays windstorm damage places other than Cincinnati? I haven't had power in 3 days and counting, and i live IN the city. I'm not complaining, in fact i am enjoying it. I rigged a OLD generator up to the house, and other than the damage, its peaceful with-out the power. |

We have been without power at work since Sunday night. There are folks around here that won't get power 'till the weekend IF their lucky. Our power company sent almost all of the lineworkers we had here down to Texas to help them. We now have workers from New Jersey here trying to put our stuff back together. I'm thinking that they got caught with their pants down on this one. |

MUCH damage here in Louisville. Over 300,000 homes without power for several days. More than half restored now. Most of our power companies trucks were in Galviston helping them when it hit us. I was lucky, mine came back on the same night and no damage to my house or shop, but I live on a state road outside of the city. Some of the surrounding neighborhoods look worse than a tornado went thru them. I've been here for several tornadoes and NEVER seen this much widespread damage. Schools have been cancelled for the whole week. They say it may be another week before its all fixed. The dealership where I work is still without power, has been since Sunday, no paycheck for over 100 employees. Thank goodness for sidework! Them crybaby treehuggers would cry theirselves dry if they saw this town! Larry |

Day 6..just got electricity. I have siphoned all the gas out of my truck, buggy,3- 4 wheelers and lawnmower keeping the generator on my freezer. I should of just let the food ruin. It would of been cheaper. Now am I ready to ride to forget about this week. Heading to Turkey Sunday. (GOD willing) Woody |

Had a good day of riding. Now it is time to start cleaning up trees, and rebuilding garage, and fix roof on house. Woody |
